Default Be Patient In Trouble

BE PATIENT IN TROUBLE

We have all been in some type of trouble. It could have been in the form of worry over a situation, distress about a problem or some type of misfortune in our lives. We may have had trouble caused by something we did. We may have had trouble due to actions of others. Either way, when trouble comes, the Bible tells us to be patient and keep on praying. Putting our hope in God when there is trouble will help us better focus on Him and be a godly example for others.

Romans 12:12 “Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we are so grateful You tell us to pray in the midst of trouble and to be patient. Prayer gives us hope. Prayer turns everything over to You. Prayer gives us peace. And when we make the decision to turn everything over to You in prayer, You will help us to be patient because we will know You are near and You are taking care of things. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We are so blessed to have God who wants to help us in times of trouble.

When we decide to pray and be patient in times of trouble, God will take care of us.

When trouble comes, we can rejoice in confident hope that God will handle things for us.

Even when we are struggling through no fault of our own, God can make things right again.

We can wait patiently for the Lord when we are in trouble and allow Him to give us the strength to be brave and courageous.

Psalm 27:14 “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” (NLT)

Focus: When we are patient and pray in times of trouble, we will learn to depend on God in all things.
