I is for Isolation. When we isolate, we are acting out in our disease. We not only hide from others and our self, we hide from God too.

If we isolate ourselves from people who are using and stop going to people, places and things, that are associated with our addiction.
Isolation is a form of abuse. When I am alone with me, I have no one to disagree with me or encourage me. It leaves the door wide open for my addiction to move in.
