Default Far Better

Thank goodness the image we have of what we think recovery is like before we start, or right after we begin it never turns out to be like that. We've no idea about what recovery is really about or what it can do for us yet most immediately decide it's not something we want any part of. This decision is based on how awkward and unfamiliar we are to it. We can easily get by these two hurdles if we give it some time, and jump in with both feet. If we do, we'll be amazed at what we'll find. The other way is to have contempt prior to investigation. Both methods will work, the latter being the harder of the two. Only we can decide which one will be our path to recovery. Recovery is never as bad as we think it to be, in fact it's just the opposite, it's far better than anything we could have ever imagined.
