July 27: Many of you, My people, struggle to maintain connection with Me, says the Lord. This is because of the many distractions that draw your attention and resources. It will take a concerted effort to combat and press through the myriad of things that interfere with spiritual focus. Earnestly seek My face and move into that place of sweet communion. Hosea 5:15 I will return again to My place till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.

July 28: Examine yourself to see what you have been obsessing about. It will be something that dominates your thoughts. Truthfully, you cannot move forward until you release that obsession to Me and allow Me to direct your steps and to give you wisdom that can give you some relief. Shift your focus from flesh to Spirit, says the Lord. Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

Great words, sometimes I find it very difficult to let go and let God, today I will do my best to let go of things which caused me to obsess over, things that I'm powerless over.

July 29: Thoughts of people from your past bring another opportunity to forgive and let go of feelings of rejection, betrayal and abandonment. Do this quickly so that you do not become obsessed with things you can do nothing about. Stay present with Me, says the Lord, and keep your focus on things that matter here and now. 2 Peter 1:10-12 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.

July 30: Internal work is still the order of the day. I will show you things about yourself that need correction. Allow the supernatural work to be done that will bring you to a new level of spiritual integrity. The result will be a genuine change of heart that allows My blessings to flow in your life unhindered, says the Lord. Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

July 31: You are unsettled about several aspects of your life and undecided about your course of action. Ask of Me, and I will give you understanding and wisdom in the things that are still puzzling. Do not despair, but know that I am leading you in the way you should go, says the Lord. Lean on Me! James 1:5-6 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
