Today I will ...present myself as a living sacrifice to God, dedicating myself wholly to him.

Today I will ...seek grace to be a mensch in the sight of God and man. I will learn the art of saying, "I was wrong."

*mensch means "a person of integrity and honor."

Today I will ...pay attention to detail as I serve the Lord.

December 4

Today I will ...begin my times of prayer by reciting Scripture.

Today I will ...pray, "Teach me, Oh Lord, your architecture for my life, and I will seek to build according to your design."

Today I will ...seek to pass on to someone else that which I have received from another so that the Kingdom of God may grow.

Today I will...not follow the crowd but obey the Lord my God.

Today I will ...exercise faith to magnify God in my life.

December 9

Today I will ...replace the fear that leads to greed with the trust in God's faithfulness that leads to caring generosity.

December 10

Today I will ...no longer allow the things of this world to blind me to their temporal nature and false promises. I will see beyond them to the place of contentment in the Lord, whose finished work has delivered me out of darkness and into his marvelous light.

December 11

Today I will ...think about those whom the Lord has placed in my life to be wise counselors for me.

December 12

Today I will...present my life to Jesus for his use without being concerned about what he chooses to accomplish through me.

December 13

Today I will...pay attention to detail as I serve the Lord.

December 14

Today I will ...joyfully accept all that the Lord wants to do in my life. I will reject rigidity and brittleness, and embrace flexibility and growth.

December 15

Today I will ...be encouraged to persevere in prayer for my nonbelieving family, knowing that perfect love casts out fear, and that the mercy of God is able to penetrate even the most resistant heart.
