So true, saw this happen with my ex-husband. He quit drinking for 9 months. He became drank more and became more violent. He lost all thoughts of spiritual principles and all money was for his beer and when I asked him to leave, there was no food in our home and I had 50 cents in my wallet. I was waiting for the right time to ask him to leave and it never came. Finally, there was nothing, and there was nothing and it got to a stage where my 15 year old son and him were going to get into a physical fight. There was so much anger, jealousy and hate on both sites. My son still carries that in today along with his own addiction.
