Choose commitment well

Commitment changes you, challenges you, empowers you in the direction of that commitment. Following through on a genuine commitment enables you to experience your own strength.

Commitment lines up your thoughts, actions, and energy behind a specific purpose. Commitment makes you far more effective than you would be without it.

You’re always committed to something. It’s important to understand what that is, and how well it serves your interests.

Look at where your focus and your efforts are directed and you’ll see where your commitment is pointed. Ask yourself, are you committed to what matters most for your life and your world?

Fortunately, it’s entirely possible to direct your commitment away from trivial, superficial concerns to more meaningful pursuits. A life of fulfillment flows from meaningful, intentional commitments.

Your commitments have a major influence on the way your life unfolds. Choose well, and point the power of those commitments in the most positive and enriching direction.
