Better approach
When one approach doesn’t work, there’s another one that will. Learn, adjust, adapt, explore, discover, innovate, and create that better approach.
When your plan doesn’t bring the desired results, that’s no reason to give up. Instead, work to develop a new plan and put that plan into action.
When the rain starts falling, continue the party inside. When the wind shifts direction, adjust the trim of your sails.
Decide to make improvements rather than excuses. Choose to find the path that gets you there instead of complaining about the dead ends you’ve encountered.
What matters most is what you intend to do, and why. Be clear about that and committed to that, and willing to adapt as necessary.
Choose not to wallow in disappointment or defeat. There’s a better approach, and you can make the most of it.
— Ralph Marston
