Default Take a deep breath! God is in control!

And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

--Romans 8:30

From where you sit today, the future may look a little bit scary.

Are you facing a major career choice, a decision that will impact your family? Are you wondering where you’ll be in 5 or 10 years… or even 20?

Maybe you don’t know where you want to go, and you wouldn’t know how to get there if you did.

If so, I want to give you a word of encouragement today: God knows where you’re going and He knows how to get you there!

In fact, He already considers it a done deal. In God’s plan, your purpose is already a determined. He is just waiting on the right timing.

If you noticed, our verse for today is in the past tense. In God’s mind, He has already called and prepared you for the great purpose of your life. It’s already a certainty because God is eternal.

God inhabits eternity. So time means nothing to God… but timing is everything. God has an eternal plan for your life that is complete and perfect. He knows the future and has orchestrated every step along the way.

You are just walking out the plan. That’s why you don’t need to fear the future.

Every circumstance is part of God’s great eternal plan for your life. Just trust Him and be confident that He is preparing and positioning you for His purposes.

Take a deep breath! God is in control!

Jack Graham
