Default Conversation Heart – Slow Speech

CONVERSATION HEART : SLOW SPEECH by SGLY Ministry

MOUTH MEDICINE:
My dear brothers and sisters,be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.
James 1:19 [NLT]

TONGUE TALK:
Speaking Slowly means stopping to think before saying anything, or taking time to choose your words before speaking out.

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Dear God, I want to learn to speak slowly today and every day.
Help me to be quick to listen but slow to speak.
And, as I listen, I pray God that I will hear Your voice telling me just what I should speak.
Help me to do this especially when I begin to feel anger rising up in me, for it is then God that I really want my speech to be slow.
God, You created my mouth, please show me the best way to use it at all times.
Thank You God for Your help in this. Amen.

Exodus 4:10-12 GraphicHEART HELP:
Then Moses said to the LORD,
“O my Lord, I am not eloquent,
neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant;
but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”

“Who makes mouths?” the LORD asked him.
“Who makes people so they can speak or not speak,
hear or not hear, see or not see?
Is it not I, the LORD?
Now go, and do as I have told you.
I will help you speak well, and I will tell you what to say.”
Exodus 4:10-12 [NKJV-NLT]
