Default Count Your Blessings

Count Your Blessings

Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so in the God of truth. Isaiah 65:16

From Grace Each Moment
To the optimist, the simple things in life are a constant source of joy - spontaneous laughter, the bright rays of the sun, and the sounds of the birds in the trees.
Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so in the God of truth. Isaiah 65:16
People who count their blessings are extremely happy. Even in the darkest moments they maintain a spirit of hope and optimism, because they know things will work out well.
The more you count your blessings, the more it will seem as if God pours them out upon your life. Your heart will overflow with gratitude for God’s amazing love. When life becomes a burden and it seems ominously dark around you, recalling your blessings is a sure way to keep a healthy perspective.
— oh how I love that last paragraph!! Each day I practice this in my life. I don’t try and count everything because it would take up my entire day..but I do pray over my blessings. And I’ve found the more I can recognize His blessings upon my life, the more blessings I find anew. My outlook for the day is focused and I’m feeling rather good about my life. Go on, try praying over your blessings this morning.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
