Default First Recovery Meeting

None of us show up at our first recovery meeting on a winning streak, but we are the lucky ones. There are many of us who will never make it this far. We are fortunate indeed to have been able to make it this far. Now if we're willing to go a little further we can get a type of life far better than most of us ever imagined possible. When we look at all the work we'll have to do for us to recover we usually don't think of ourselves as being so lucky. The good news here is that we've already done the hardest part just by getting to recovery, and in comparison all that we have to do now to stay in recovery will seem like a walk in the park for most of us.
