Choose Carefully

Something has suddenly changed abruptly for all of us and in a very scary way that's very powerful for all of us when this has happened all at once and at the same time. Many of us are taken aback by this when this occurs because we all know that there's something very different in the same old game that all of us have been playing for some time now and losing very terribly at. Usually all of us will equate this with us having some kind of new control over something that none of us have ever had control over or will we ever have control over, yet we will all still want to think that we do. What this really is, is a gift for all of us. We've all been given the gift of choice where there once stood none for all of us, and we all still get to choose to do with this whatever we want to, but make no mistake about this for all of us something has decided for some reason we all should receive this gift of choice and whatever it is that is doing that it is not us. We also need to know and understand that not everyone is given this gift, and even after we all have if we still think of this as some kind of new control because we can now choose where we once couldn't we will all be sadly mistaken when we find out that is not what this is for any of us. Because of us being in recovery we've all been given the gift of choice, and we'll all want to choose carefully as if our own life depends upon this choice, because for all of us it does.
