Default If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature

If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature

"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 1 Corinthians 5:17

A blessed morning folks! As you get ready for the worship of our Savior, here's a reminder that we - who are in Christ - are now new beings. Praise the Lord!

The old things are passed away. All things are new. This includes our dull/shy spiritual life of the past. We are now given a refilling of the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Our walk will be swifter, up beat and so much better. We will be excited to share our testimony, set a good example, and lead many to Christ. Amen! We will not be ashamed to shine for His glory.

Let us keep the momentum going. Our Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon. Let us do our part to build His kingdom.

God bless you all. Go, enjoy the fellowship of believers. Happy "Son"day!

Coffee with Jesus

Believe that we are all new creatures, when we surrender to the program of recovery. That is why I can go to a meeting, no matter what their religious beliefs are, and can identify. If I compare, I stay sick. I got to a year sober and didn't know who God was. I had to go on a spiritual quest and make my God personal and build a relationship with Him.

One of the reasons that I could accept the program was the fact that all are welcome to join and recover. That is what brought the freedom from addiction for me. I was no longer an outcast, but I was a part of the whole, and were One in God, and as it says in the Big Book, a Higher Power. A God that wasn't me. That new creature was reborn into a new way of life and thinking.
