Default P-O-W-E-R Reap: Day 28

P-O-W-E-R Reap: Day 28 by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Scripture: And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9 NKJV

Today’s Thought:
Today’s verse is encouraging, for sometimes we do become weary while doing good.
Sometimes, we do and do good works, and never see much recompense.
Sometimes the enemy tries to discourage us into thinking the good we do is of no use.
Sometimes our focus gets off track and we begin doing good in hopes of reaping something for ourselves in instead of for God.
Sometimes it is just our own flesh wanting to become lazy, or sometimes the ways of the world tempt us to give up when we don’t see any gain.
However, this verse should encourage us to keep on–for it tells us we shall win if our focus is kept right and if we don’t get discouraged and give up.
Someday we will see the harvest of our good deeds, if not here on earth, then we will in heaven.
So, let’s keep on doing good, trusting in the Lord to give us good results in His due time, for really, we are working to bring Him the gain and glory, not us.

Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
I am so thankful for Your word which encourages me and Your Spirit who strengthens me.
I want to focus on reaping and with Your help I can continue doing the good works You have prepared for me to do, for I have the power of Your Spirit within me to overcome weariness, doubt and discouragement.
I want to always remember that: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 2 Corinthians 9:6 NKJV
So, each day God, help me to stay strong and to continue generously doing good for You, so that my good works will someday reap a bountiful harvest that brings You glory and great gain!

And, I want to remember to always praise You daily in all circumstances, and rejoice in You, for You are good, and You are worthy to be praised!

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
