Default Free Yourself From Past Hurt

Free Yourself From Past Hurt

Thought for the Day

"Many times, the biggest thing that holds us back from moving into the future is something in our past. Old hurts can weigh heavily on our mind. We get stuck waiting for whoever hurt us to "get theirs." We need to let go and let God deal with them. Everyone ultimately needs to answer to Him. Turn it over to Him and free yourself to move forward towards the abundance He has waiting for you."

Today's Word

"Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord." (Romans 12:19 NIV)

Today's Prayer

Lord, there are times when the hurt placed on me by others becomes too much and I want to see the other person pay for the hurt they have caused me. I get stuck thinking about this and I find myself unable to move forward in a healthy and full way. Father, I turn my hurt over to You so I can start to move forward towards a new day and You can deal with those that have hurt me as You, only in Your judgement, see fit. Amen.
