It's never too late to start, and be willing to accept where we're at, if we allow ourselves to be comfortable with these two things then we'll be able to begin to be able to do anything that we need to do in order to get well. Instead most of us end up cutting ourselves off at the knees, by not accepting that we are right where we are supposed to be, and by thinking it's too late for us to do anything about our problem. This is not true, and the truth is, it's never too late to do what we need to get better as long as we're still here. For many of us we begin our recovery when we are willing to accept this, that we got here right when we were supposed to, and that it's not too late for us to do something about ourselves, that the time is now. We started to get well when we're able to do this, and also when we realized that all of this, that is happening to us, has nothing to do with anything we thought should be happening to us, or when we thought it should be happening.
