What we all have in common, those of us who are in recovery, has had all of us long before any of us even knew that it did, and yet somehow we all knew this, but believed that some day somehow we could still win and unfortunately for most of us that day never comes. Along the way and as things continue to get progressively worse we all pass through certain obvious stages of having this, that all of us have had to ignore which makes it impossible that we could do anything about having this, or do anything about what it was doing to all of our lives. But in the final stage of having this is something that gets all of our attention and is something that none of us could ignore, because along with it came that total isolation that we all know that we're in. We've become isolated from everybody and everything, including ourselves. Welcome to the final stage of having what we all have, where all of us can finally begin to do something about having this, and learn to recover from it. For most of us until we reach this stage we won't be able to do anything about having what we all have, but once there all of us have chance to especially if we join recovery where we can find those of us who can show us how they were able to get out of that of isolation that we all found ourselves in, and all the insanity that came along with it.
