I used to wander off until you disciplined me; but now I closely follow your word. Psalm 119:67

Psalm 22:24 - 24 For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned his back on them, but has listened to their cries for help.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him Hebrews 11:6

And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Jude 1:22

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. Romans 10:17

Romans 8:23 - 23 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. Romans 10:17

Psalm 56:3 - 3 But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 1 Peter 5:8-9

In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God's promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, 2 Peter 1:5
