In time when the afterglow of being here in recovery fades for all of us we will all start to ask ourselves is this all there is to being in recovery just people who are alike trying to help one another? What usually follows this is thinking that there's got to be more to recovery than just this. Some will even begin to wonder what's the point of being here if this is all there is to being in recovery which doesn't seem like very much and we'll start to doubt it's ever going to be enough of what we all think we need. Why should we even bother with being here at all ? This is something that we all go through. It's part of being able to be here for all us who are in recovery. This is when we'll all realize just how real it is to be in recovery that it becomes a way of life that has its ups and downs but what's more important than knowing this is that recovery will always be more than enough of what we all need, and we'll never be able to find this anywhere else. This is the reason for all of us being together here in recovery because without us having this none of us stand a chance of being able to make it. We may or may not like being in recovery at some point, but if we stick around long enough we'll all realize there's nowhere else where we can go to get what we all need, and that there's not anything else like recovery that even comes close to being able to give to all of us what we'll all will find here.
