Daily Motivator - March
Wrap your love Let each thing that happens plant a seed within your spirit. Then nurture that seed so it bears positive, valuable fruit. Instead of letting a certain occurrence stir up judgment, let it stir up love. Wrap your love around whatever happens, and make it into something good. From joy, from pain, from pleasure, from disappointment, you can move in a positive direction. It’s a choice you can make each day that will surely improve each tomorrow. There is much in life to love, and your love has a character all its own. Use each moment, each incident, each circumstance as an opportunity to express that love in your unique way. Wrap your love around life, no matter what life may offer. Wrap your love around life, and you’ll make life better in countless ways. Your love can lift the world higher. Wrap your love around it all, and see how good it can get. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#LvqgO3622Rk01Us2.99

The time has come Aren’t you finally ready to live up to your full potential? Haven’t you had enough of watching yourself settle for less than you know you’re capable of achieving? Isn’t it time to be honest with your possibilities and true to your deep-seated desires? The time has come, the moment is here. You’re ready to reach for the stars. You wonder why you waited so long, but there’s no use in dwelling on that. It is time to move forward. You were born to do great things. That frustration that’s been gnawing at your spirit is urging you to get on with it. Will it be difficult? Yes, it will require considerable effort. But is that really so bad? It sure beats doing nothing! Fill your life with the richness that comes from following your own remarkable possibilities. There is so much you can do, so much you can create, so much you can become. And now is the time to begin. Live your own special greatness. You have the time, the desire and the energy. Why would you want to do anything else? Why would you possibly settle for less? Make a difference. Make it happen. It’s your life and it’s overflowing with great possibilities. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/motivate/990302....dru7pIeuzsB.99

Momentum change Even the smallest positive effort can create a radical shift in your perspective. Even the smallest positive effort can begin to create a powerful, forward-focused momentum. If it seems you’re going through a bad stretch, make the choice to change your momentum. Then step decisively forward and act on that choice. The way to change something is to do something. You can wish and worry and complain until you’re blue in the face, yet nothing good is likely to happen until you act to make it happen. When you avoid any effort, life can seem endlessly overwhelming. Yet the moment you start to do something you’re suddenly connected, almost as if by magic, to all kinds of positive options. Though you may not feel like it, and though you may have to do it on faith, take a small positive step. Make a little effort in a good and positive direction, and you’ll be making a big change in your momentum. Your actions absolutely can make a difference, so choose to use that power. Act to give your momentum a change for the better, and delight in the new direction in which you’re headed. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#SGArWKS7b3EWLeRe.99

The more you give Nothing is more fulfilling than giving something meaningful to life. Every day provides you with the opportunity to do that. When all is said and done, what really matters is how much you have chosen to matter. What really matters is the positive difference you have made for those with whom you share this life. Instead of looking to impress, look to improve. Instead of grabbing for all you can get, discover how much more you can create, and give. You simply cannot become meaningfully rich by taking. True richness comes from expressing your true nature, which is to make a difference. The more you give, the better life gets, for you and everyone else. There is enormous value within you, and by genuinely giving of yourself you gain greater and greater benefit from that value. The reason it feels so good to make a difference is because that’s what you long to do. Go ahead and allow yourself to satisfy that longing in as many ways as you can imagine. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#cmDr5MLXRDMHBixt.99

Keep working When you doubt yourself and your efforts, keep working. Your creative energy, persistently applied, will soon make the doubt go away. When you’re simply not making any progress, keep working. The breakthrough you seek may be just one more effort away. When you’ve enjoyed a great success, keep working. Instead of resting on your achievements, make them even more meaningful by making good use of them. When it feels like all your energy is drained, keep working. Your determined efforts will create their own energy. When you’re not sure what to do, keep working. The more you do, the more you learn, and the more clearly you’ll be able to see the way forward. Life works best when you keep working at it. Keep working, and keep making life truly amazing. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#FtRrhhz6VyA4Qpvo.99

Willingness to learn Look back at everything you did yesterday and ask yourself this simple but powerful question. What worked, and what didn’t? The way to improve and to become more effective is to learn. The way to learn is to take the time to look at what actually happened. You don’t need some celebrated guru to reveal to you how to improve your work. You just need the willingness to learn from what you’ve done. Instead of getting angry or frustrated about your failures, choose to learn from them. Instead of getting boastful or complacent about your successes, make the choice to learn from them. Learn what helps you, what holds you back, what makes you more effective and what slows you down. Learn from your encounters, your experiences, your joys, your setbacks and from the surprising twists that life often takes. In everything is the valuable opportunity to learn if you’ll simply decide to do so. Learn from it all, and make each day better than the one before. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#8ESKswIZFJmvJOzZ.99

Choose a positive outlook Life will always challenge you, yet it never has to defeat you. Even when things are extremely difficult, there is no good reason for despair. In fact, your best choice is always a positive outlook. That is what will give you the most power to deal with whatever life brings. Yes, it is certainly possible that things could get worse. However, it is just as possible, and much more preferable, that you act to make life better. The future hasn’t happened yet. A large part of the way it unfolds is up to you, your attitude and your actions. Make your future the best it can be by making your outlook the best you can imagine. Though it can be easy to be discouraged based on past and present experience, you have a much better choice. Choose to look forward with the highest, most positive expectations. And get busy bringing those high expectations fully to life. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#EMDZg5y8A93q6hD2.99

Perspective of peace Nothing can intrude on the peace that is within you. Yet even the smallest thing can cover it up and hide it from your awareness. Still, it is always there and you can always come back to it. Let go of whatever is blocking that peace, and it is yours to experience again. Don’t let the outer disturbances cover up the peace that is within you. Instead, choose to view those outer events from a confident, peaceful perspective. When you live from a perspective of peace, you live with great power and effectiveness. When nothing can trouble you, everything is of great value to you. It is your nature to be at peace and to live with the peaceful power of authentic purpose. Make the decision to connect with that purpose, with that peace, and you will. The peace you seek is already there. Stop heaping meaningless drama on top of it, and allow that peace to flow freely throughout your awareness. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#WTbqTZro1SpP3mpT.99

Negative surprises Effective people don’t have any fewer disappointments than others. In fact, they likely have more. What is different is that effective people don’t let those disappointments stop them. Effective people don’t have any fewer interruptions or potential distractions. They just don’t allow those interruptions and distractions to knock them off track. If a disappointment comes along, let yourself be disappointed. And then move on. When an interruption pops up, deal with it and then move on. If you try to shove the disappointment and interruptions out of the way without resolving them, they continue to hound you. There will be negative surprises every day. You can turn each one into a continuing excuse for why you’re not making any progress. Then they’ll surely hold you back. Or you can turn each one into a positive learning experience by quickly dealing with it and moving on ahead. It will make the difference between collecting excuses and amassing accomplishments. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/motivate/010309....hfPZSFzSY12.99

Make enjoyment your choice When you enjoy what you’re doing, you’re highly effective at it. So whatever you may be doing, make the choice to find something enjoyable about it. You don’t have to wait for a special day or event to start enjoying life. You can enjoy it now, and any time you choose. Enjoy the challenges as well as the pleasures. Enjoy times of effort and times of relaxation. Don’t ever cheat yourself out of the opportunity for enjoyment. Instead of placing a judgment on the situation, give joy to it. It makes no sense to put limitations on your enjoyment of life. Make enjoyment your choice, and choose it often. See if you can enjoy where you are, what you’re doing, who you’re with, and who you are. The more you enjoy it, the better life is. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#VBJZ2QDt4cDKakzz.99

Live your life Actual problems are problem enough. Don’t let yourself be stopped by the mere possibility of problems. Go ahead and live your life in the way you choose. Though the challenges and setbacks will come along, you have what it takes to deal with them as they appear. Instead of being intimidated by what might go wrong, let yourself be inspired by all that can go right. Make the choice to live the best life you can imagine, and make the commitment to put forth whatever effort is required for that. Let the resistance you encounter serve as confirmation that you’re moving forward. Let the problems keep you motivated to fulfill your most treasured dreams. Live your life, today, right now, with the passion, attention and love it deserves. Embrace the abundance and add your own special meaning to it all. Remind yourself of what a truly great opportunity you have with the dawning of every single day. You have the miraculous gift of life, with its limitless possibilities, so live it with purpose, courage, richness and joy. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#fbcjcOxIAjUlst6l.99

Amazing Life is amazing, so be amazed. Instead of acting like you’ve seen it all before, live as though you’re seeing it all for the first time. You are in fact experiencing this bright new moment for the very first time. So look carefully, lovingly, and with the highest of expectations. Take an interest in what you’re doing, in where you are, and in every part of life you touch. There is new treasure to be discovered everywhere, so find as much as you can. Let yourself be curious about whatever crosses your path. Let yourself be fascinated by what you see and what you learn. There is never any reason to be bored. Embrace a vision of life that is endlessly fascinating and truly amazing. Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, be amazed. And your life, along with your whole world, will indeed be amazing. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#yZcooII82wa6jUmq.99

Living by intention Live by intention, not by reaction. Consciously choose your actions and they will be far more rewarding. Instead of being a slave to the negativity of others, be the master of your own positive and purposeful life. Decide precisely how you wish to live, and then focus your energy on following that course. Keep in mind that excuses make you a victim, so let go of any urge to create those excuses. Choosing to unconditionally take responsibility for your life is what will make life rich and full. Living intentionally and responsibly is difficult, inconvenient and won’t always make you the most popular person around. Ultimately, though, it is always the choice that creates the true, meaningful value you seek. Live fully in each moment, but don’t live just for the moment. Live so that your very best possibilities continue to unfold as time goes on. You know that there is great, unique value and goodness within you. Live each day with purposeful intention, and joyfully give that value and goodness to all of life. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#fIRG5L88tbMrI8Zw.99

Be the happiness Don’t waste your time seeking to find happiness. Instead, be the happiness. Happiness does not come from anything outside of you. Happiness is the way you choose to be. Yes, you can express your happiness in many wonderful ways that go far beyond you. The consequences of your inner happiness bring beauty and great value to your outer world. Yet the happiness itself always comes from within. And you can always choose it, no matter what other things may be going on. Instead of limiting your happiness to just certain situations, let it come alive in any situation. Instead of waiting and hoping for someone or something to bring you happiness, bring it on yourself. Be the happiness you wish to experience. Let it flow freely from your feelings, your thoughts and your actions today, and always. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#7xBFE8AoGHyjq7Wp.99

Imagine the best The life you live is lived first in your imagination. Every step you take is imagined before it is actually taken. The powerful thing is, you can imagine absolutely anything. So remember to use that power wisely. There are consequences to whatever you imagine. Make those consequences good ones by filling your imagination with positive, loving and life-affirming visions. There is no restriction on what you can imagine. So choose to imagine the very best for your life, your world, and all the other people in it. Your imagination drives your actions in ways you never even realize. The seeds you plant in your imagination will spring to life in the day-to-day reality of your experience. Just imagine how good and wonderful and fulfilled your life can be. Imagine, and you are well on your way to making it happen. — Ralph Marston Read more at http://greatday.com/#lyz1r8CmGwJzC1Ep.99
