Finally figured out to post anything! My last posting was Nov.2014 .

So my prayer is that my dear son uses the rooms to support his sobriety. He's not had any alcohol for 10 years.. His answer is, "I'm doing ok. "You know the deal. He's trying everything, but AA. I'm sober in the rooms for 32 years. His sister is sober 20 years, their uncle has 15 and my dear sweet mother was sober 15 years. I pray that he is one of the chosen few.
I tried once, and then thought that if he's listening to all those who have gone before, he will put his pride away.:

Lifting your son up in prayer.

Prayers for your son. For some, AA doesn't work or they don't have a willingness to work for AA.

My son has been in treatment 5 times and he chooses to continue using. He is just not willing to do what the program suggests, and if he isn't ready, I can do nothing but pray for him.
