Default Spiritual Vitamins–Day 15

Spiritual Vitamins–Day 15 by SGLY Ministry

SPIRITUAL VITAMIN J : JOY

“Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:18 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
Joy is a verb, an action word.
I will “joy in” means:
I will “rejoice in, be glad in or be joyful in”.
The original word gil (geel) contains the suggestion of “dancing for joy” or “leaping for joy”.

When Habakkuk said this he was saying that even though he might lose every earthly thing he would still joy in the God of his salvation.

Today’s Action:
Today let’s take our Spiritual Vitamin J and be filled with JOY !
No matter what our earthly circumstances are we can still joy in the God of our salvation.
Let’s dance and leap our way through this day praising God for our salvation!

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 14:17 (ESV)

REJOICE!
Let the faithful rejoice in this honor. Let them sing for joy as they lie on their beds. Psalm 149:5 (NLT)

BE GLAD!
Let us be glad and rejoice and honor Him. Revelation 19:7 (NLT)

BE JOYFUL!
Always be joyful. 1 Thess.5:16 (NLT)
