Some days are like that, although at this recovery house, I just have to look around me to find gratitude. There are so many much worse off than me, especially those who have lost a leg to diabetes They remind me to be watchful. My blood sugar has been good here, I try not to eat processed foods, don't eat substitute sugars, watch what I eat and how much I eat (most days), and grateful that I don't have to take insulin. My tests have been between 4.7 and 6.2, with one day in the 8s because I had juice and a muffin.
