gratitude
I'm very grateful for being freed from slavery by my addictions. I feel free ! I no longer feel like a slave to my disease. To wake up in the morning and not think of a drink or a drug is a miracle. I used to fantasize of being clean like it was a fantasy impossible to achieve. But I'm ten months clean now from alcohol and drugs. This program and fellowship works and I'm very grateful that AA and my higher power who I choose to call God came and found me after I tried to take my own life. My life has completely changed and I have completely changed as a person, and I owe it all to AA.
