Default An Example Of Suffering

AN EXAMPLE OF SUFFERING

God causes suffering so we can share with others. When they see the issues we have to go through and how we handle things because God is in our lives, we can be a witness for God. When they see we are struggling but we are not afraid or worried, they will see we know God has control over our lives. When they see we are not panicking about what is going to happen to us because of what we are going through, they will see we have faith in God and know He will handle things. We can be an example of suffering for others when we trust in Jesus and rely on His power and peace.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 "That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.' (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know our suffering can make us stronger when we focus on You and what You want to teach us. Remind us our present troubles are fleeting. Remind us of the glory we will gain when we cling to You throughout our hard times. Remind us to fix our eyes on You so we can endure the hard times and be an example to others who need to draw closer to You. In Jesus' name.

We can be an example of suffering for others when we trust in Jesus and rely on His power and peace.

We should never give up when we are suffering because God is always going to be with us and wants to help us.

Our troubles will produce good things when we trust in God to help us through them.

We can endure the hard times and be an example for others when we put our faith in God.

We can be an example when we are suffering by trusting in God and relying on Him.

Isaiah 50:10b "If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the Lord and rely on your God." (NLT)

Focus: When things seem bad, we should trust in God and tell others of our faith in Him to get us through the hard times.
