Default Proverb A Day – Day 9

Proverb A Day – Day 9 by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Proverb: Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Knowledge of the Holy One results in understanding.
Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life.
If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit.
If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer.
Proverbs 9:10,11 [NLT]

Today’s Thought:
Fear of the Lord means:

Recognizing who He is
Respecting who He is
Reverencing Him for who He is

In doing this,I will come to find a rich treasure of wisdom in Him.
For scripture says: In that day He will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD will be your treasure.
Isaiah 33:6 (NLT)

Today’s Action:
Today I will:

Recognize the Lord and honor Him for His power and glory
Respect Him, His words, way and will
Reverence Him for who He is, and be in awe of His majesty and power

For as I honor Him, seek Him, and read and study His word, I will come to know and understand Him and this will be a great benefit to my life here on earth and eternally.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
