Be Humble and Gentle
BE HUMBLE AND GENTLE
No one is perfect. People are going to let us down. Everyone messes up at some point in their lives. Just as we do things wrong or make mistakes, we need to remember others do also. Our reactions to them should always be in love. We should be patient, gentle and humble toward them knowing we, too, have made mistakes. Showing our love to them when others have done wrong will allow us to share God’s word and love with them. Ephesians 4:2 “Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.” (NLT) Dear Lord, help us to remember we all mess up. Remind us when others have done wrong not to judge but to be gentle with them. Help us not to be angry but to humbly go before them and let them know we understand but also help them to turn back to You. Use us today, Lord, by putting us in a situation where we have to be patient, gentle and loving to someone so we can share Your word and Your love with them. In Jesus’ name. Amen. No one is perfect. We need to remember that before we begin to judge them. When we are humble and gentle to those who have done wrong, we can show them the love of Christ and that He forgives. When we are faced with a situation where someone has done us wrong, we are to be gentle, humble and patient with them. God can help us do what we can’t do on our own. When someone has done wrong, we should go to Him to show us how to respond. We have all sinned. Each one of us. But God loves us and wants to save us anyway. Romans 3:23 “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (NLT) Focus: Before judging or condemning others remember we all mess up. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu...d=FRANCESLUCAS
