Soul Irrigation

This reminds me that when I am off kilter, when my head doesn't feel attached to the rest of me, and the thoughts don't reach my fingers, I need cleansing to release the blockages, be they mental, emotional, spiritual, and/or physical.

For me, it is meetings, preferably face to face, but online does help. Picking up the tools of the program and remembering that my God answers knee-mail.

Sometimes it is good to take a walk in nature and acknowledge God's Creation. Not the skyscrapers, but the blades of grass, the flowering weeds, the budding of a leaf, and recognize that God cares for all things. Grass is more grounding than pavement and cement. Water is cleansing, not only the body but the spirit. Nothing like a bubbling brook to put some joy into my thoughts and those bubbles seem to lighten my spirit. As the water flows over rocks, it reminds me that my God can overcome all things. He helps me to overcome all obstacles that are in my path.
