Default P-O-W-E-R: Day 2 – Pray

P-O-W-E-R: Day 2 – Pray by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Scripture: Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. Psalm 5:2 NKJV

Today’s Thought:
Prayer is communication between us and God.
There is power in prayer.
We can pray at anytime, anywhere, night or day, if we are in public our prayer can be silent. If we are alone, or with others of like mind, our prayer can be out loud.
What a privilege we have been given! Let us not let one day go by that we do not go to our God in prayer. In prayer, we should ask God daily to plan our steps.

Today’s Prayer: Dear God:
My Father in heaven, I hallow Your name.
I pray Your kingdom will come and Your will will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. (Luke 11:2)
Today I am praying for guidance.
Please help me plan my steps according to Your way and will for my life.
I have made a list of my plans, now I am seeking Your counsel and direction.
“Now, my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and let Your ears be attentive to the prayer made in this place.” 2 Chronicles 6:40 NKJV

Today’s Action: pray continually, 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Ask God to direct your steps.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
