Wanting Help

As we all begin and struggle along, without an idea of how this whole recovery thing works, we all have very little hope that this can actually work to do for us what none of us could ever do for ourselves. Then it happens, as it always does, where we can all see that something wants us to be here, and is trying to make it so that we can be here, more than any of us even want to be here ourselves. When this happens all of us may have been confused before but after this we're all now baffled and will wonder how this can be. It's like something is trying to help us more than we are all trying to help ourselves at the very moment when this has occurred. We've all just had our first taste of the fruits of recovery that are found here for all of us by doing the actions that are suggested that we all take. None of us can change the results that come to us by taking these steps but we'll all be greatly benefited by the power that's found by us doing them because it's the help that all of us have been wanting for ourselves. This begins for all of us by us wanting help, and then us getting out of our own way, and then by us beginning doing the things recovery suggests. This has never failed any of us when we all have done this, and never will.
