We Are Free

WE ARE FREE

We can debate all day long about who is right or wrong. We can speak our minds about what others are doing or not doing. We can listen to the opinions of others about the sins in the world. However, if we focus on the wrong in the world too much we soon lose sight of what is important. We soon forget God has everything under control. We soon stop giving God the glory for the freedoms we do have. Let’s focus on God today and remember our freedom comes from Him alone and not anyone on this earth.

Revelation 1:5b “All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for freeing us from our sins when we turn to You and repent. Thank You for allowing Your only Son to live as a role model for us and to die for our salvation. We are free because You have allowed us to be. We are saved because of Your perfect plan. Thank You, Lord, for Your saving grace. We want to give You glory because You love us and have freed us from our sins. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We should give glory to God because He loves us.

We should give glory to God because He freed us from our sins.

We should give glory to God because He allowed His only Son to live and die for us.

We should give glory to God because of His perfect plan for us.

When we come to know God, really know Him, we will want to give Him glory and follow His light.

Isaiah 60:19 “No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.” (NLT)

Focus: We don’t need our focus to be on anything of this earth. Our focus should be on God and He deserves glory and honor.
