PUT OUR HOPE IN GOD

Many people talk about putting hope in God in the tough times. When things are going wrong and we tend to lose hope, the right thing to do is to put our hope in God. However, what about when things are going right? Shouldn’t our hope be in God then as well? Sometimes we tend to forget about God when things are going right. We think life is good and we don’t need Him. That is definitely not true. We need to put our hope in God every day and wait quietly before Him to ensure we are doing His will.

Psalm 62:5 “Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we love You and thank You for another opportunity to spend time in Your word and in prayer. Whatever goes on today, we put our hope in You. Whether it be good or bad, we want to wait quietly before You and allow You to work through us. When we don’t focus on You, we can easily get distracted from doing Your will. Our hope is in You in all things and in all ways…always. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We should wait quietly before God in all things and put our hope in Him for His will to be done.

Putting our hope in God should be a daily routine in all we do.

It is easy to get distracted with the issues of the world. That is why we need our quiet time so we can put our hope in God.

Those who don’t know God have no hope. We can share the power of God with someone today.

Taking time to reflect on our day every morning will help us to remember to put our hope in God.

Psalm 39:7 “And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you. (NLT)

Focus: Our only hope is in God. And we should wait quietly before Him as we put our hope in Him.
