SEEK OUT OTHERS TO ENCOURAGE

Being our brothers� keeper means we should all look out for one another. It means to show concern and care to others and encourage them. When two or more people are together many things can get accomplished; however, if there are some who are constantly criticizing, gossiping and complaining it slows everyone down. We need to remember to be encouraging to others around us and help each other succeed. It is God�s way and it is the right way to work together.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 �Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.� (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know we are in real trouble when we are alone and we fall. Help us to reach out and be a friend and make friends who we can help and who will help us. Remind us to be one who takes time to help others when they fall. Give us Your power and strength to be the encouraging one on our team. We want to be the one who reaches out to help. Make us aware, every day, of the right things to do and say that will encourage others and help them succeed. In Jesus� name. Amen.

We should seek out those who are in need of some encouraging words and pray about what God wants us to say.

1 Samuel 23:16 �Jonathan went to find David and encouraged him to stay strong in his faith in God.� (NLT)

There are plenty of people in this world who need an encouraging friend. Let�s be one.

God wants us to be encouraging and seek ways to help others succeed.

Good friends are those who seek out opportunities to lift others up rather than tear them down.

Proverbs 27:17 �As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.� (NLT)

Focus: Know what we do and say does encourage others when we allow God to show us what they need.
