My God meets my needs. He also gives me my wants and desires if they are good for me. He also gives them to me, to show me His way is best and for me to wait on Him, instead of trying to make things happen.
Was taught as a child, to pray and ask in Jesus Name and surrender to my God's Will by saying, "Thy Will, not mine." Many time I prayed, and wished I hadn't because I got what I asked for.
