U is for Unique. We are not unique in and of ourselves as an alcholic/addict. Our journey is unique in that it is ours and no one else has walked in our shoes. Our trauma is our trauma, even though it doesn't seem as horrific as you hear from some people. I need to understand that the program is about me and not about someone else.
